    Hi Guys

I am in Australia and I have copied an AVI movie file to a DVD-R using DVD Flick, project setting 'PAL'.

How can I tell if it will work in the UK? If I can

    Thanks in advance

I believe that the standard format used in the UK is PAL, so it should be fine.

I could be wrong, but I think most modern computers can play both PAL and NTSC (and maybe SECAM for all I know) anyway.

That is true; however it is more difficult when the recipient wants to watch the DVD on TV.

If the user does not have a multi-system TV set, then an NTSC-based TV will not be able to view a PAL-format DVD. (But a PAL-based TV may be able to view a NTSC-format DVD.)

But anyway, since the UK uses the PAL standard, there should be no problem in this case.
