I have a home network with a couple of wireless users and a couple of wired users. I need to be able to control the bandwidth they use so that when they are downloading with bittorrent or whatever they don't choke my speed so that I can't even browse the net at an acceptable speed. Is there software out there that will help me do this? I have a D-Link Di624m router.

You will probably have to upgrade your D-Link to a device that can do bandwidth throttling or possibly QOS depending on how you want to controll traffic. Another option would be to add a device that will do this. There are a number of brands that will do it. If you like D-Link, most of their NetDefend products will work.
