how to use a cam in remote desktop

Hi MG!
i hope you can give me a smart tip or suggestion concerning my problem.
I use rdp to connect to my remote session from my home PC. the problem is there is no video feeding. my web cam doesn't work in remote session. is there any way how to fix it?

You could try iCam. It is a app for the iPhone, but there is a application that you load on your computer, that will allow you to view the webcam. http://skjm.com/icam/support.php The software at the link I attached, does not cost, just the app if you have a iPhone. This about the easiest option that I can think of. The other would be to use Yahoo Instant messenger, and another would be to try Teamviewer.

Remote viewing a cam or video usually don't work. You need a program to stream it. Depending on the camera it can be VLC (for IP based cameras) or a 'security cam' program like YAW or Dorgem, or if you want to buy a program web cam xp.
But none of these do remote control of the PC, just for viewing a remote camera.

I have one more question. i have googled for something like fabuletech webcam for remote desktop. has anyone heard about this application? it is not free but it has 15 days of trial...

anyway i am going to try everything and choose the most convenient way

 

I think backoriface will do remote and camera, but it is a 'hacker tool' and blocked by most antivirus.
