I am trying to get turbonote on my laptop at work. I talked with IT people and even though it is a harmless program, they have blocked our ability to download anything with exe or zip ext. That can't be changed. So.... if I put turbonote on a jump drive and take it to my laptop at work, use it while I'm working, then bring it home , I'm OK. MY question is this......Since all things to download and install are blocked, will I be able to use the jump drive. Will the laptop recognize it? I was unable to install my PDA driver and syncing software even though I brought my own CD disk. Will this be any different? IT will set me up to sync, but I am having to wait a month. If they give me turbonote, they have to put in on all the thousands of computers at work, so they aren't will to do that. I don't want to buy the jump drive if it will be useless to me at work. . I have Win XP at home, WIN NT 2000 at work. I use an IBM thinkpad at work. Thanks in advance.
