How to use "Leave a copy of messages on the server" in OE

Say 2 people, using Outlook Express, are sharing the same email address on 2 different computers (A and B), and they both want copies of all emails sent to that address.

If both A and B are set to "Leave a copy of messages on the server", would it be that one of them will have to delete them off the server when both computers have received them - or - set the options to remove from the server after 1 day so's not to clog up the mailbox?

If messages are left on the server, does that mean both computers get them again and again every time one downloads into OE until they're deleted off the server?

Never tried it, so not sure how it works...

    TIA

Each machine will see messages it has not previously downloaded as "new", and previously downloaded messages will not be repeatedly downloaded. You are on the right track with using the "leave on server for X days setting", although I would bump it up to about 7 to allow each user (and respective machine) the best chance of seeing all their messages. Set one machine to "leave messages on server", and the other to be the one responsible for deleting from server after 7days.
