Get smilies to work in Firefox 4.0.1

I should know better but I forgot to include that I'm running WinXP 32-bit, SP3, 2GB RAM.

In what context do you mean "get smileys to work?" Most sites allow you to select smileys to include in a message by actually clicking on an example of the smiley. It is browser-independent.

Go to a site that has smilies and allows hot-linking (do a search to be sure it is not malware infested). I can recommend planetsmilies where I got the above.

Copy the link and before the link put in an image tag like this [ i m g ] but not spaces in side. Then at the end, close the tag by typing [ / i m g ] again do not put any spaces inside the brackets.

It works in IE7 but not FF, so that means that either AdBlocker or NoScript is playing with this.

I'm using FF v4 have ABP working but some of noscript turned off (I allow MajorGeeks) and it worked fine for me as you saw the image I posted.

I'm trying this using FF 4.0.1 with Noscript temporarily allowing MG.:-D
