How would I get my Ipod touch to connect straight to a DVI/VGA monitor?

    How would I get my Ipod touch to connect straight to a DVI/VGA monitor?

    so I can use a mouse with it on a bigger screen?

    You can not use a mouse on a iPod touch. Apple sells a cable that will allow you to connect the ipod touch (4th gen)/iphone 4/ipad 2 to a hdmi monitor. As for adapting to a dvi, it will be a trial and error.
