Here in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, where I live, yesterday we had ~8½" of rain (210mm) in the last 22 hours. The heaviest rainfall, in October, since 1964.

We are heading into the "Wet" season, but this rainfall was unexpected.

Min and Max temperatures were 22° to 30°C (72°F to 86°F) as we head towards Summer. It doesn't get much more hotter, but the Humidity increases. :cry

How was your weather, for a comparison?

Yesterday? Here in Michigan, we had sustained 15mph winds, temperature never got above 54F (~13C). Which was warm compared to today.

South-Eastern BC, -2C(28F) in the morning, sunny and 12C(54F). Nice for this time of year.

We're heading the other way Bazza, we'll be digging out the skis and snowshoes soon.

London, England is sunny, partial clouds, nippy but pleasant (about 60 F - do you do Fahrenheit or Centigrade in OZ)? Light ground frost is due at end of week in the mornings. Not bad at all.

Lucky you! You're going into summer.. We have the dark, dismal doldrums of winter approaching. Brrr! Ah, but 'if winter's here, can spring be far behind?' Dunno who said that, but it gets me through British winters. We do metric here, too, but I try to ignore it.

Another day of rain here. Unusual. 140 millimetres (~6") in 24 hours.
We needed the rain, but enough is enough. ;)

Rain, and wind, and rain, and wind...repeat ad nauseum. Today it got all the way up to 44F (~7C)! And we're under a wind advisory through tomorrow evening with a 100% chance of continuing rain.

    Okay today.
10 inches of the fluffy stuff yesterday. Got to try out the snowblade
on the lawn tractor, and it was awesome. The church was wanting to
sell their lawnmower, slash tractor, and I got lucky. I was kind of hesitant on how it would handle wet, heavy snowfalls, but once you get the hang of it, no problem. I've got wheel weights on it, but no chains.........yet. Hope it does okay for the rest of the winter.

spent a day and night in Payson, AZ once.
Nice place. In-laws live in Benson and we've got to make a trip
there this december for a get-together. Looking forward to some
warm weather (maybe) during the middle of winter.

It started to spit a bit of that snow/rain after school today. :( I hate the snow. It only needs to snow for Christmas and Deer season.
