hp 563w problem

I am having a problem getting sound on a hp 563 pavillion pc. It looks to be an integrated sound card in the motherboard. I checked hp for drivers but there are none on their site for sound cards. The hard drive was re-formatted therefore the recovery files are gone and hp does not supply any disks with their pc's so I have no recovery s/ware. Anyone that could assist with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. I have emailed hp several times but got no replies. Thank you..........

Thank You very much glennk721, found what I needed. I couldn't even get that driver from HP and that where the PC came from and it is a fairly new pc too. Go figure. Thankx again, you solved my problem.

Please, help me, I have exactly the same problem that jamesieone, but i dont understand this page and I really want to know how jamesieone solve the problem... ( sorry for the English, but im Mexican and I dont understand too much the english)... if jamesieone see this message, please HOW SOLVE THE PROBLEM, I have the same pc, the same sound card, everything.
