HP A6020.ZA Drivers

    my HP pavilion A6020 does not have any xp drivers for audio,ethernet or pci modem.I can only find vista drivers.please help.its urgent:confused

    If Hp doesn't supply the XP drivers then you have to use Vista.
    Under Pavilion A6020, it lists Vista 32 and 64 bit then says

    You can download your drivers from ECS. They made the motherboard for HP. Here's a link:

    Install the chipset drivers first (also called the Intel Inf) and reboot. Then click this link to download the UAA HD audio driver (KB888111). Install it. Then install the audio and the rest of the drivers. It is VERY important to install the chipset Inf FIRST and the UAA drivers SECOND. If you try to install the sound before the chipset and/or the UAA, you'll run into massive problems getting the sound to work.

    (next time you decide to dump Vista and go back to XP, try to locate the drivers B E F O R E you start installing XP! There have been cases where NO drivers for XP were available. NONE. So the user had to go back to Vista.)
