    Hey all

I have a HP Pavillion dv2000 computer and the DVDROM is not in my computer but it is in the Device Manager. I tried restarting, uninstalling the DVDROM and then restarting and letting Vista reinstall the hardware. Other then that I have no idea really what to try.

I am running Vista Home Premium and the DVD ROM is a Toshiba MK2035GSS ATA Device. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Alright, so I was looking at the HDD, the drive does not seem to be in the device manager or in My Computer.

    Any ideas?
