   I have no audio either. I have a HP pavilion dv5000 with windows xp could u tell the best place to get the right audio driver.

   HP Support and Drivers have the Audio Driver here
   
   If you have just re-installed Windows do let us know this information as you may need other drivers too, mainly the Chipset, which on the DV5000 is built into the ATI Graphics 200M drivers.
