HP Laserjet 5si doesn't show up in printers and devices

hi i am running windows 7 x64 and i have my old 5si hooked up via a parallel card i added to the computer. it has worked fine for me up till now. recently one of our printers went down and i figured i would just share mine till we could get it fixed, but when i went to find it in the printers and devises it is nowhere to be found.... the part that has me confused is it is in my printers when i go to print something ... any ideas?
