HP Pavilion dv9500 wont boot up unless dvd is in.

HP Pavilion dv9500



when i turn on the laptop i get no operating system found.but if i put the windows 7 dvd in i can install it,just afterwards it wont boot up unless the dvd is in the laptop.:cry:confused

 

also when i go to my computer it shows drive2 65.5 gb free of 111gb

 

ok so if i keep the windows 7 dvd in and turn on the pc it boots up then i can take the dvd out of the drive and surf the web ,but if i restart it i get no operating system found,so i always need to keep the dvd in when i boot it up??

 

my operating system is installed on c drive 2 so you think just changing the boot order would fix this?but it does not.

 

i ran a disk check and got this at the end

also im trying to re install 7 when i get to where do you want to install windows all i get is

disk partition1 drive 2 c




wheres drive 1

 

when i go to boot options i see

f10 and f12 delay 0 sec

cd-rom boot enabled

floppy enabled

internal network adapter boot disabled

then i click on boot order and i see

notebook hard drive

network adapter

atapi cd/dvd rom drive

usb diskette on key

usb hard drive

usb floppy
