Hi there, I am hoping some of you can help me out. I have a 3.5 year old HP Pavilion dv2000. The problem is when it starts up, (from shut down or hibernate), sometimes I will get an error warning me about the date and time settings. Other times I will get the same error and an additional one saying fixed disk error, then "operating system not found" flashes on the top left of the screen. If I remove the power cord and battery, wait and then reconnect, most times it will fix the disk issue. Sometimes it will take 2 or 3 tries. Regardless, I almost always have to reset the date and time. I may teach it how to fly soon, if you know what I mean. Any suggestions?? :banghead
