hp pavilion system restore

I just got a hp pavilion a305w computer as a computer for the grandchildren and it has windows xp sp1 on it. I have searched for patches from hp site to update the system so I can install windows xp sp2 on it. However, the hp site does not have any updated downloads for this computer. I especially wanted the system restore sp26532 patch along with all the other patches so the sp2 will install right. Can anyone tell me where i can get these patches? Any and all help would be appreciated..........

I dont believe HP offers patches, only BIOS updates and software updates. I believe you are talking about Windows Updates. You can get the latest updates here.

Thank you for your help.. the hp site advises updating the hp software that was installed when purchased..such as the hp image zone ..it says that if the sys restore sp26352 is not downloaded before installing sp2 that the system restore will not work correctly. I did download the microsoft patch..Maybe the computer is too old as the hp site did not have any downloads for it.. not even bios or motherboard... will try to install the microsoft patches.. if I have problems, may just have to delete sp2... thanks again
