Can anyone tell me where I can find instructions for opening the case and removing the Mobo?

Also replacing the pin on the Mobo for the power cord. I found a couple of posts on other sites but they weren't very clear but replacing the pin seem pretty simple.

I think you're wondering down the wrong path here. What makes you think you can remove the motherboard in a laptop? Motherboard removal from a laptop is generally not a do-it-yourself project. If you're having certain hardware problems with a laptop, you'll probably need to take it to a repair shop or, if under warranty, contact the manufacturer.

    What, exactly, is the problem?

The problem is the plug-in pin for the power cord is loose on the Mobo. The powr cord is not charging the battery and will only power the laptop if it in a particular position, move it and the computer cuts off. I've found instructions for pin replacement but they all begin with the Mobo already remove from the case.
