well I have HP photosmart 735 digital camera plus have the USB cord to connect to the computer, problem is my cd broke and I had to restore my computer,so w/o the cd i'm unable to download my drivers and whatever else that I need for this to work. That I don't have the cd,is there any website I can go to,be able to download what I need or any other options?

I'm guessing you want to put the pics on your PC. Plug in your camera and turn it on.
Then go to Start> Control Panel> Scanners and Cameras, at least it's that way on my PC. Your camera should show there. Double click on it and the wizard should start. From there you should be ok.

And I searched HP site for drivers and software. They say they have none in english for that camera. confused
    Edit:
I agree with brownizs.I never installed driver or software for my digital camera and XP sees it when plugged in.

OK well I plugged the camera into the computer and found the add hardware section on my computer,so I clicked on that and found the photosmart 735 icon then accepted for that where a wizard comes up where I go by each step, then this shows up which i'm uncertain now if I should move forward or not...This is what is said....

The software you are installing for this hardware
    HP Photosmart 735

has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with WIndows XP

Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future. Micosoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed windows log testing..

You should have no problem. If you are still unsure, set a system restore point and then install your camera.

It just means that Microsoft did not certify the driver. Just go ahead and click to install.
