Hi, all!! Using an HP Photosmart 8250 printer with 4x6 photo paper on Windows Server 2k3 R2 (latest patches and such)...

I'm trying to print out some simple "index card" type cards using HP's 4x6 photo paper. Problem is, no matter how I lay it out, no matter what paper type I select, my "index card" is being printed slammed all the way to the top of the 4x6 sheet. If the card contains only text (I've been using text and graphics, except in PS7 which is all graphics, basically) everything is slammed to the top, and I get either black blocks or vertical lines along with the text. I've tried with OpenOffice, MS Word, and Photoshop 7, and all do the same thing (thus ruling out an application issue). Can't find a set of drivers that are more up-to-date than the ones I have.

Anyone have this printer, and know the trick to getting it to print on 4x6 photo paper how one has the document laid out?

    Thanks!
    Jack
