HI, i had HP officejet 6500 pro installed and 3 days ago derided not to print anymore and on the printer queue I get an "error printing" after unseccefully tying to fix the problem I decide to uninstall, I did from the windows program folder, then I reinstall but still dint fix the "error printing" after deleting all the HP files that I can find now i have another problem the software installer is telling me that all I have to do plug in the printer and it will work but there isn’t any software installed.
    Any help on this please.

    More info please?
    What version of Windows?
How is the printer connected to your computer, is it shared?
Any other info you want to provide.

    Sorry;

    Windows 7 pro, 64-bit, 8 GB RAM
    printer USB connect
    Not shared
I have uninstall and reinstalled the software several times and by doing the search for files I come up empty
One more thing the first reinstall did not finish because the software dint find the connected printer so I check the box to do it later, so I uninstalled it and now when I try to reinstall is telling me that if I connect the printer it will work but there is no software installed. the bottom line is that there parts of the program scatter everywhere I thing but I cent fined them Revo I understand it don't work on 64-Bit, CClener and advance systems don't fined any.

    thanks Mike

Lets try unplugging the printer, use every method you can think of to uninstall, IObit, control panel, delete the folder. Run CCCleaner.
REboot and check Device Manager to be sure it is gone. Check network and printers too. You want to be sure the printer is NOT there and the registry has no old values.

Reboot again, check again, plug in the pritner's USB. Post what happens.

    Greetings inventor1949.

    Couple of quickies:

    1. Try printing another document: open Notepad, Wordpad, Word, whatever - create a quick document and try to print it, see if the symptoms change.

    2. Rename the original document and then try to print it, see if the symptoms change.

    3. Your image shows the printer connected to "USB002" - try plugging into another USB port to verify that there is not a hardware problem with that port.
