hp webcam 101

my hpwebcam was working and then it stopped. So after that i went to cyberlink and clicked on the icon and this is what it said "cannot connect to this video device (hp webcam 101) please select another video capture device via settings or close any applications that may be using this webcam and restart it"

NO other software is using this hp webcam. and i unplugged the digital camera from the computer. the hp webcam's blue light is on, but the window with what i typed above keeps popping up.

I even went to control panel and clicked on hardware and scanners and camera.
and i clicked on find devices and clicked refresh and it was empty. i have tried to download drivers from hp. I still get the "usb video device can be found-try antoher capture device"..i dont have another capture device. :confused
