hp webcam softwatre

    Hi all! my daughter has an hp webcam and she has lost her disk with the software for her cam. I have found the drivers no problem but she had software on the disk that was easy for her to use. Any suggestions on free easy to use software for video capture. Thanking all in advance for your help!

    First possible is to contact HP support and ask them if they wil either send you a replacement CD with the software on ( please also tell us which model HP it is as we may be able to find the exact software used ) as its worth a try.

    Do also tell us which Windows version you using as some software we could find for you may not be compatible with version your using unless we can narrow it down.

    Windows xp sp2 is os and there are no markings on the camera showing model or serial other than an hp logo on plastic stand. I did send email to hp asking for help to identify the unit or direct me as to where to get software.
