I have an HP 530 laptop (only recently acquired) and have had trouble with the built in wireless device from the start. It sees wireless networks and recognised that their enrcypted or not, but when i try to connect to one (my own), it only gets to the acquiring ip address, and no further. Other pc's get connected by using the same settings, i know there's nothing wrong with my ap.

It seems to have problems with just 'my' wireless network device, because it connects to a dlink or cisco ap very easily. I have checked the encryption and passwords, and they are correct. i have loaded the most recent drivers for the thing from the hp website, but still no connection.

Am i doing something wrong? Can anyone help me?http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
