When I reboot my PC I always get the following error:-
    "HPHC_Scheduler.exe - Fatal error
CLR error:80004005, The program will now terminate."
When I select OK to continue, the message clears and the PC appears to boot ok. Is this anything to worry about and does anyone know how I could fix the error?

Search for HPHC_Scheduler.exe and when you find it, right-click it and select properties. If run in compatibility mode it checked, uncheck it.

Run in compatibility mode is already unchecked?
Im running on VISTA Home Premium. Does this make a difference?

Does it make a difference in Vista? No. Vista users are seeing that error. The offending program changes but the error number is the same.

It comes down to some sort of problem with the .NET framework.
Fire up explorer (windows not internet) and go here C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework
then post back what version(s) of .NET are on the computer.

The majority of files show version 1.0.0.0 or 2.0.50727.312 but some folders show versions v1.0.375 and v1.1.4432 and v2.0.50215 and v3.0.
