HTML CSS problem

I just reimaged a Dell Optiplex 960. When I go to websites Ebay, Facebook, Craigslist and I click on a link. The images do not display and it throws all the text to the left side of the page. Does anyone have thoughts on what my problem might be. I'm running Windows 7 and IE8, but happens in Firefox also.

It can't be the HTML or CSS because those websites that you listed all use stylesheets that affect all visitors to those pages - and the pages appear fine here...

So, let's tackle one browser at a time: navigate to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools. Open Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) and then connect to one of the websites in question: do the same symptoms present themselves?
