    Okay you guys, this is serious. Yesterday I wrote an email to Tim from Major Geeks, because i couldn't post a thread on Major Geeks, and this is why:

    Please i need serious help. I got this hijack that keeps redirecting me to http://vrdgbj.outhost.info/ and evertime my antivirus scans the same old trojan and deletes it, the next time that I restart my coimputer, the virus is still there. Now, I tried to use Hijack this which is installed on its own directory on my computer, but all of a sudden, my computer can't find it, nor can it find Spybot: AND I SWEAR I DID NOT UNINSTALL THEM! There's still their dirrctory. Ok what do I do now? I tried to download Hijack This and Spybot but as soon as I go to a download mirror, guess what? My browser exits. And this happens to all of the other anti virus and anti trojan programs I try to download. I also can't do an online scan for the same reason, and If I try to download HiJack this from another computer and put it on a floppy disk, my computer will not read it. It will say the floppy is dead. I tried to go on your forum, but my browser only takes me through registration and login, and after that, I cant go on. I seriously need help this is bugging me so much! Help me, pleeeease!
    P.S. (I scanned already with About:buster - cos when I start my pages they're named about:blank but then redirect me to http://vrdgbj.outhost.info/ - and with Adaware and AVG but nothing happens)....

    So today I tried to do those "Sticky" steps to clean my computer, and this is what happened. First of all today i get redirected to this page (http://aefcdf.outhost.info/) instead of the one up above. Second of all, sometimes my Browser freezes, sometimes it doesnt. And when it didnt I was able to write this thread and download some programs such as Pest Patrol and SpyDoctor, yet, together with Adaware (I cant download spybot, my browser automatically closes itself, nor with HijackThis) i cannot delete this spyware. Most of all Pest Patrol evalutation version does not include the removal of objects. Also, AVG keeps finding every 30 minutes this Trojan Horse Backdoor.Hacdef.C, and once It heals the file, some minutes later, or every time I reboot my computer, the Trojan Reappears. I tried to delete it completely from the computer with File Monster, yet, the file magically reappears. This is driving me mad, and many sites I visit are redirected to the http://aefcdf.outhost.info/ page. I need serious help, and I have no idea what to do!

    Ok, lets start witht he stickies. Trojans can be difficult to remove. Often they can not be removed because they are running. So to delete them, you have 2 choices. You can hit ctrl alt delete and end the process (filename that is the trojan) or boot into safe mode and scan with a trojan remover like A2.

    Go through most of those steps, especially being sure to go into safe mode and trojan scan and\or do a complete system scan with AVG.

    Let us know from there, we will probably want you to attach your Hijack This logfile from there if this fails.

    Also you never mentioned your OS. If running WinMe or WinXP, first disable system restore before trying to repair this problem. And as MA mentioned run from safe mode (and I would make sure you have no network connection at the time. i.e., with WinXP do not use safe mode with networking).

    See if you can see any of the files that seem to be disappearing on your hard disk or floppy from safe mode. If still have problems, as MA recommended, uses Task Manager to shutdown as many items as you can in attempt to end the trojan process. Then you may be able to continue with the clean up since you have identified the process you should be able to find the file and delete it.
