I admit it I don't know what i'm doing

Hey guys its me again.
My dad told me that he couldn't play yahoo pool. the firefox would just close on him when he got to the page with the ad and the click here to continue. so i figured it was a problem with java. i went to java to download the program but it closed on me after i clicked the download button. i uninstalled java and tried it again because maybe the whole of the program on my computer was causing the browser to shut down. but it is still doing it, i can't download java and haven't fixed the problem so basically i think i made things worse. Any help would be great, cause i really don't know what i'm doing.

I tried it on my computer and had no problems so it isn't a problem with the websites.

Firewall maybe stopping the download and reason why he can't get past the ads on yahoo? Been awhile since I played at yahoo but remember I had to change ZoneAlarms settings to play there.

Try downloading Java file to your pc and copy file to his. Also try using IE to go to yahoo on his machine to see if it works. Remember that you need the downloaded program file to play yahoo games, could either be corrupt or firewall is blocking the download. Did it ever work on his machine? has he changed anything?
