I had to reinstall Windows XP, due to a problem with an old hard drive. Now all my script and web pages are very small. I tried changing the settings, with no luck...Can anyone help me please!!! The web pages on 100% only fill about 1/2 the page, and I have to go to 125-130 % to read them!!! Thank you in advance...Moozamoo

What graphics card do you have - have you reinstalled the drivers?

Have you tried it with a different monitor?

A screen shot of your video settings and what you are actually seeing on the monitor would help I would think?

I can see it but frankly, I don't see what is wrong. I can read the lettering and it all looks good to me that is. Are you wanting it like gigantic? What browser are you currently using as I cannot tell from the screenshot.

Here is a better pic of my screen.....it only fills about 1/2 as u can see. I only am hoping that it could, maybe be a little bigger as it was b4 I had to reinstall windows XP

I already tried other browsers, with the the same results. I did notice that in my Itel chipset area in Control Panel it says I am running NT, I am running XP. I tried to chat with ingtel, but they said they no longer make that so should I just getr a new graphics card?

I'm the same as motc7 ... I fail to see the issue?

If it's too small, you can go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced. Look at the accessibility options ... tick or untick the ones applicable to you. Also in View, Text Size. You can increase or decrease the size of the text on your webpages.

What happens if you drop the screen resolution to 1024?

I have a Intel 82845g/gl/gc/pe/gv Graphics controller with the required updates loaded. Intel told me that since they no longer make it , my best bet is to get a new card. any ideas about the best one to use I have a dell dimension 2500 series

MMmmm I think a new card would be a good idea anyway - do you have a techi bud you could borrow one from to try before you buy?

    Hi

Both your screenshots look fine to me and actually I get the same on 3 different PCs with 3 different Windows versions and 5 different browsers.

Try this one http://majorgeeks.com/ and does it fill the page? or for that matter does this forum fill your page, while the two screenshots of yours are same on my PCs, the main page and forum to majorgeeks, fill my page so there is nothing at fault, just some pages are programmed differently and can be in panels that dont fill the page.

As you did re-install Windows, where all the drivers reinstalled for your model of PC or motherboard? in Device Manager do you have any yellow ! marks, if so what, some may not be the cause of this but chipset and graphics are the ones of interest.

Is this a laptop - if so ignore my previous post!

Both of your screen shots look normal to me. Change your resolution to 1024x768 or 800x600.

I'm willing to bet my *** that it won't make a difference to the size of your screen.

Before you go that route and I agree with Drizzles above on gfx card, what does this forum look like on your screen?

Try IE or Firefox in their no-addon modes just for the off chance an addon is causing your issue IF this forum looks narrow or short in lenght as it should fill screen as the other two sites you screenshoted are normal sizes for them
