I am looking for a wireless mouse/keyboard

My office is looking for a mouse/keyboard combo that can work about 30 feet away from the laptop. Line of sight is important as well since the uses will include presentations in a large room. I looked around Microsoft's site but they say nothing about distance and LOS issues.

Also, I need to know if there is a definite relationship between cost and quality. I know "you get what you pay for" but is there a major difference between a $100 mouse/keyboard and a $300 mouse/keyboard? Is there a good combo that is between $100 and $150, $150 to $200, etc.? Although we are a city, we still have budget constraints.

I did look around but they don't rightly say anything about line of sight issues. Compatability is easy enough to gather. That's why I was hoping one of these fine people could recommend what they use. It's always better to talk to someone who has used various products rather than reading propaganda.

 

Ah yeah i know what you mean. I use those gyration mice for when instructors do presentations and what not. They seem to work great. I even used one for a while as my own mouse for FPS gaming. As for LOS issues, i havent heard anything negative about them. Theyre fairly inexpensive and i believe they do come with a keyboard as well. might be worth it to check them out.
