I am not sure where to post this

I have a gateway laptop, last night I allowed a friend to do remote assistance, when I began to type only numbers came up and a few letters. I did a system restore to 3 days ago, it worked, I can type normally now. My question is, will the problem come back in 3 days or by doing the system restore did I fix the problem for good?????

 

Nothing he wanted to show me something, and I made the mistake of letting him, but that is totally off topic. I learned from my mistake. Thank you

I thought about leaving the pertinent parts of your post, then decided against it. I have now deleted multiple posts from you today ranging from poor advice, to attitude problems. I am not the only one. I have sent you a PM regarding your poor technical advice, and it has gone unanswered and unheeded. I'm tiring of this game, and I will not continue it. If a private discussion cannot be had, I will make it public. Here is what needs to change, effective yesterday:

1. Accurate advice in your posts. http://forums.majorgeeks.com/announcement.php?f=21
2. Stop belittling members or taking every oppurtunity to bash OSes you don't like.
