I followed some advice from this forum and did really well getting rid of
C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\A0000132.CPY virus. The problem was I deleted the _restore folder along with the contents;I should have just deleted the contents.I reactivated the restore option and am recieving notice of this file being infected, but I no longer have this folder.what files are associated with this folder?

If you reactivated system restore, you must have that folder. How did you delete the folder?

What is it that you think you are infected with?

When I scan for viruses this file comes up as infected.
    C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\A0000132.CPY virus

I located the folder, but when following the procedures listed somewhere in this forum the only meesage I recieve is Access denied.

You must disable system restore. That does not mean delete the directory.

Information on this is included in the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal
