i can;t access folders after reinstall

    i have windows XP sp1 and i just reinstalled my system but i can't access some of my files ... i get this message box saying when i open certain folders:

    "E:\my folder is not accessible
    access denied"

    ... the folders aren't in the boot partition ... i have my set up so that i have a boot partition and all my files on another HDD altogether ... if anyone needs additional info just ask because i am stumped

    Windows XP Home or Pro?

    Were these encrypted before format?

    What are the names of the folders/files, if you don't mind telling us?
