I am trying to uninstall sql and when I go to unistall it "Unable to locate the installation log file, ETC..." pops up. So I tried deleting it directly from the program file and I was able to delete all of the files except for "sqlsnmp.dll". A pop up comes up that says: Cannot delete sqlnmp.dll Access Denied Make sure disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use. I looked for a sql running proccess and did not see a sql proccess, but i am not sure about the write protection.

    Please help

Do a search on sqlsnmp.dll in the registry and delete any keys that pertain to that. Be careful with what you delete.

Maybe you should stop the sql server services.
