    Hi

Try the info HERE as you will note that you need a pre-requisite of Windows XP 64-Bit Edition SP2 for this feature, so if you are not at SP2 then update.

i have SP2 for xp 64, but the microsoft support people told me I did not have the automatic update service (i checked with services.msc)
they emailed me a zip file that was supposed to install but all it had in it was a txt file saying the following:

    FILE QUARANTINED

Microsoft IT has removed auservice.rar->auservice.reg since it
has been found to match the FILE FILTER= unnamed: <in>*.reg file filter.

    what should I do now?

does that mean the av software on their mail-server decided to quarantine the .reg content of the zip file?
