I can't start in safe mode

    Not with f8, not with ctrl, and not by msconfig etc. What would cause this? I am running windows ME, and using GoBack (I like it much better than system restore, since it has failed me several times) Could Goback be causing the problem? I need to get this figured out since I'm installing a second hard drive and don't want to go any further till I know I can enter safe mode if necessary. Thanks
