I can't unsubscribe from "Software"

Ahhh it be embarassin' 2B so foolish. Anyway, I subscribed to "Software" with great hopes of gleaning grains of hope & wisdom. Alas it be not grains but bushels & it just may be that me brain is going to explode...& my Email program withe it. Enuff prologue.

In short, the last msg on my last email ended (almost) with "In forum: Software ...

& it *did* end with:

Well I may be a fool or, to be kind, in some things foolish, but I *can* [honest] work a mouse. I clicks on it-- i.e. the above. What do I get? The following:

An invalid threadid or forumid was specified.

I take it that these are not 2 errors but rather,e.g. ..."id" is for "Identification," yes?

Another tack is called for. I paste the shortcut to me GOTO bar and wind up..., yop, U guess it. Same spot. So...Does there be help 4 me? Sincerely I hope for it. Oh, I have looked elsewhere, out here on the site, but have found nothing that dovetails with this problem.

Hehehe @ bushels, you should really only subscribe to threads that you're interested in. As to unsubscribing, just go to 'UserCP', top left and do it from there.

 

Sounds like you have eMail notification turned on in your options.
