    Hi all-
I am currently using Panda anti-virus 7 platinum version. My problem is whenever i try to install a second anti-virus program.Whenever i reboot my pc,i get a blue screen telling me that i need to delete/fix whatever program that i have recently installed on my computer, then reboot.Well then when i restart my computer it sends me to safe mode and then....the only way i can eliminate the blue screen is to uninstall Panda anti-virus7platinum or the new anti-virus program that was recently placed on my computer. My question is ,Panda anti-virus so complex that you do not need a second anti-virus program to run along side it?If not, then what program will coincide/not interfere with it as to misconscrew the way my pc runs.Sorry you all im kinda long typed(winded)lol!!!thanks a million

You can run two antivirus programs at once, but not if they both do real time file checking. Turn off any real time checking of files, email, etc. before installing the second AV program. After install, turn off the real time checking in the second one. You will have to choose what files get checked manually.
    As I understand it -
if you do not turn off real time checking the first AV program does a check and writes/changes a file to say all is well, the second AV program senses the new file and checks it and writes/updates a file which the first program sees as as a new file that needs checking. This loop takes up 100% of the computer or causes a crash.

The easy way out is to run one good AV and keep it up to date.

Panda is quite sufficient on its own.

    Whether it matters is relevant.

I checked my PC for the first time a while back after running almost 24/7 for a year, and Ad Aware found cookies, that was it.

It all depends on your computing habits.
