I did "Read & Run Me First," don't know what else to do?

Ok, I hope I did things right, I'm not the best at computers...

So, first of all, my computer (HP, 2 months old) froze about 2 days ago. Wouldn't let me restart at all. I finally held down the button and then it would only go to the blue screen at the very beginning (w/ 3 options and F# buttons). So I accidentally did system restore (or recovery?) not realizing that this was like a big process. So I had to reinstall stuff, (webroot spy sweeper and norton antivirus) but my norton antivirus won't reinstall. I did all the symantec help things, and I keep getting "The installation encountered an error and is unable to continue. 9999,171." Also, while it is installing, is says "Fatal Error. Gather error information."

In addition to this, every time I start my computer now it pops up with a box titled "Sony Application" with the message Resource DLL Error. (1-287).

So I did the whole read and run me, but I couldn't get some of it to work. I restarted in safe mode, and I couldn't find the ccleaner thing I downloaded or the Microsoft Windows Malicious software removal tool.

I have attached the bitdefender, panda activescan, and hijackthis log. Please help if you can!

Welcome to Majorgeeks!

You do not have any major malware issues that are causing your problems. Sounds to me like you had a crash of some sort and then complicated matters by doing a System Restore. You will need to work these issues out in the Software Forum (where I will be moving this thread).

You only have on minor item we can fix but it has nothing to do with the problems you are having.

Run HijackThis and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://*.trymedia.com (HKLM)

After clicking Fix, exit HJT.:

Now you should add a message here explaining exactly whay you did (System Restore, a repair, or you reverted back to the way your PC was ship using disks from your PC vendor).

If you have already tried those steps and still having trouble run the Norton Removal Tool (SymNRT) here, http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4749 That will completly remove all Norton products and allow you to reinstall.

2. The Sony message at startup is some kind of software, probably for your camera or imaging program. Maybe just a reinstall of that software will solve that.
