I do not understand eBay

    A parts computer states "bad CMOS battery. Main battery does not hold a charge." It sold for $66.00

    A good working computer with Wifi sold for $20.00

    The laptop is a Presario 700, 1.2 G, 256 RAM with 256 onboard for 512, 20 Gig HD..... Win XP. I was going to see about selling mine and watched the prices. After watching for about a week, I decided to keep mine. I was also watching some Dell boxes that had the same confusing results. Must be the result of uneductation and someone simply bidding to get what they think is a great system while others sell for less....

    Just goes to show, you can get some really good prices for things that most people just really don't know much about.

    I used to sell a lot on ebay a long time ago, but it's just not worth the time and effort anymore since there are so many people listing the same things that you don't get much for it. It's more like a glorified garage sale. Might as well give the stuff to charity, which is basically what I do.

    I think ebay is alright. I do the things you should do by making sure the people have a pretty good percent of good feedback and stuff. But still people take so long on shipping.
