i dont have a disk!!!

    is there any way around the please insert the windows 98se disk? please help

    If you are doing an upgrade from an earlier version of windows, no there isn't.

    If you get this when your installing drivers, instead of pointing it to the CD drive point it to:

    C:\WINDOWS

    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32

    Pointing to these directories should take care of this issue.
