   I have windows millenium and the current version of itunes doesnt support this. is there any good alternative to transferring songs from my computer to ipod without doing any damage to my 127 mb of RAM computer or IPOD video?

   Maybe try an older version of iTunes?

   Or burn the music to CD and do it on an XP computer. In any case, I don't think you can possibly damage your RAM (or PC) or iPod...
