I dont Know Where to Get an Ethernet Controller

    Hi, i have recently got a virus and reformated my computer
    well, since i've reformatted it seems im missing

    Ethernet Controller
    Multimedia Audio Controller
    and
    Video Controller(VGA Compatible)

    Please help

    If the computer is name brand Dell, HP then their website will have the drivers for your model. Otherwise you will need the Motherboard model number to begin finding drivers.

    well, Its a hp compaq and how would i find the code of the motherboard im an absoulute beginner when it comes to computers

    You should have a sticker on the computer that gives you the model and serial numbers. Use a different computer to get on their website and using that info, you can download the drivers to a thumb drive or copy to cd and install that way.

    You just need your model number for the HP website.

    Select Download Drivers and Software
    Enter your model number
    Look for Ethernet, WAN drivers. Probably will say Broadcom. HP drivers are usually just EXE files that will install when double clicked.

    Any questions give us your model number and we can help find the drivers.
