Ok i recently hooked up a computer in my room and it doesn't have any internet because its the matter of switching my internet service. But anyway...i dont think my drive is getting any power what so ever. the led light doeasn't blink at all....and when i open the drive manually (using a pin or something) the conputer wont recognize the disk. I opened up the computer and everything appearded to be fine. I mean im not a computer expert. (I'm only 13 years old). So i thought it might have something to do with the power, so i followed the power chord and it lead into this box that said "do not open" now might be porblem but im not sure and i dont wanna open up the box cuz i dont wanna mess it up anymore....if you could help that would be great.

well, somethign shoudl be answered anyway.

yeah... don't open the power supply. even though there's no power running through the capacitors inside, latent electricity may still be inside ready to zap you to no return:(
try the following: change the ide cable (flat grey cable) to a different one. i've seen a problem like this before from a bad ide cable.
