I.E. 8 and Outlook Express

I don't know if this is the right forum but will give it a shot. We are looking at upgrading to Internet Explorer 8 from version 6. Having way too many problems with 6. The problem is I am reading too much about IE8 and Outlook Express not being compatible. Anyone know if the upgrade to 8 will also import my OXpress address book and saved emails? If not, any advice or solution would be appreciated.

 

Upgrading IE to version 7 or later will not upgrade OE; OE will remain at version 6 and will continue to work as it did before the IE upgrade. Just thought I'd mention that in case you were thinking would continue to have the same version of OE as IE, as was always the case up to IE 6.

We're going to try it and as long as Outlook Express stays there and functions that will do the trick! Appreciate the input!
