I am having the same issue and I tried your Fix. I allowed the UPDATE of IE, then restarted the computer, and it is the same problem. I didn't see where I could choose IE 7?? I had some malware problems, but ran ReadRunMe, and submitted logs. I am waiting for a response on my logs, but thought I would search for that one problem that seems to be the only prob I am having now.
    Thanx!!
