I finally bought my new desktop!

    Well, it took almost 10 years but I finally got my new desktop ordered. I went with the Dell XPS 410 customized to what I think should be fairly decent. I had to sell a few things but I finally scraped up the money and got it! :D

    I'm curious to see what this new Core 2 Duo is all about, I have heard many great things about it.

    I got this machine for $1,374.00 with free shipping and free Express Upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium.

    Thanks, I'm excited because this Dell I have now...ever since I mentioned getting a new computer I don't know if it's me or what but this thing gets slower everyday. lol

    Gotta say...that is a pretty sweet build!! Blows my system out of the water...that's for shure!!!!

    Hahaha that is so true, devices seem to know when they are about to be replaced, I only thought about changing my car and the one I have now is in revolt, was in the shop most of last week due to oil leek!! They KNOW :)

    A little hint to keep the old girl functioning till the big day arrives.....promise her she'll be a part of your wireless LAN, and not sold for scrap!

    I wanna get one of the Dell Optiplex Ultra small form factor set ups, but it something like $1900 US for it. Maybe if I could save my money a little better.

    Well, it took long enough but I finally got my new system. It took me a while but I finally copied all 110 gigs of data, lol.

    I will say this, the Core 2 E6600 2.4 is an awesome processor. This thing hasn't slowed down one bit. This is the best system I have ever played with, I can play any game and run any program with no lags or anything. I have Office 2007 and Word opens in less then 2 seconds, I was amazed.
