i fu** up my puter

    hi guys i ran reg seeker and now i get a promt that says this file dos not have a program associated with it for performing this action create an associontion in the folder options pannel can any one help
    this happens on my desktop icons please help i'm lost:wave

    Try deleteing the icons that don't work by rt clicking and selecting delete.
    Then find the files or applications in the menu and rt clicking them and selecting send to / desktop-create shortcut.

    Have you tried to restore the changes RegSeeker made before this happened, if you allowed it to backup what you were deleting, choose the backup from the time you experienced this.

    or assuming your windows is XP then try this repair of the shortcut link association http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm choose the LNK (Shortcut) File Association Fix (Restores Default Shortcut Behavior)
