I am trying to install a new HP Printer (PSC 1600) in Windows 98 and when I run the install disc, I get only so far and it hangs up. I then get an error message: "File C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\msinfo.nfo does not exist". I tried downloading the drivers from the HP site, even got a new install disc from HP, the same keeps happening. What can I do?

I've had problems in the past installing PSC drivers while Anti-virus programs are running. Completely exit your anti-virus, don't just disable it, then try to install the drivers.
