I Get Ghosting while Playing UTGOTY

I got ghosting when playing UTGOTY now, since i shorted out something on the graphics card when i was trying to see what the temp was with my finger. I get like a double image one is solid with the other one being transparent and it starts happening after a minute or two. And installing the updated graphic card drivers doesn't help it just mess up the position of the image on the monitor.

Graphics card - Ati Rage XL 8mb
Motherboard - GA-6VX7-4X
Cpu - Intel celleron 900mhz @ 1008mhz (112FSB x 9X)
Ram - 640mb ram PC 133

Uhhhh... I think you answered your own question. Not a big loss, that video card would only be like $3.79 to replace. You could get a MUCH better AGP video card for about $20 or $30; like a GeForce 4 or 5200 with 64mb-256mb and it would DESTROY that ancient ATI card. Normally, I wouldn't suggest investing money in gear this old, and I usually recommend that people save up and get up-to-date hardware, but since $20 or $30 isn't enough to do much in the way of new gear, it would be wisely spent on a big upgrade in video (in this scenario it's an upgrade).

(What's the deal with the twist-ties or rubberbands and the CPU fan? I'm afraid... very afraid )

 

Its holding up the cpu fan since the fan shroud is paper and they are twisty ties. otherwise the cpu at 900mhz doesn't quite have the power to watch anime
