i got a problemo

for some reason my internet has been funky lately. I usually turn on my computer in the morning when i first get up (in the summer, around 10 lol) aby the time i get off work (usually 9) the internet has lost most of its connection. I cant go to any web pages and if i can its VERY slow. the strange thing is that AIM will still work but the little ad at the top shows the "cannot display this page" thing like in IE. Ive tried all sorts of cleaners and tweakers and all that stuff. Ideas?

 

Start with disconnecting all network cables and plugging them back in.

Spyware cleanup should be next following the thread here, second is to do some "pinging" to your ISP and speed tests to rule this out, third are you on a shared connection, if so what are they doing, they may need a system scan as well.
